Harrison Co. Officials OK $400K Oil, Gas Lease

CADIZ, OH — Harrison County commissioners recently approved an oil and gas lease with Chesapeake Exploration. And at $5,000 per each of the 83.66 acres, the amount received is $413,000, with 20 percent in royalties. Commissioner Don Bethel said commissioners are researching the possibility that there may be more land available.
